A Starry Night in a Box!
PAPER HANDLES FROM PAPER BAGS:
paper paper paper paper paper
I'm done with this now, but I found this great photo editor online. It's supposed to be a trail from hut to hut for the woman and her little one. And that's a bird flying over the trees. This paper collage stuff is interesting, therapeutic and fun.
I got carried away in detail on this one, but it's done now. Paper collaging is interesting, fun, and therapeutic as I said above.
WOODPILE 2022 (back to the paint)
(This is my tribute to the firepit at TacoLoco Restaurant/Bar. Firewood, color lights, the smell of burning wood, nighttime, cold with snow on the ground, a favorite place to just BE!!)
2022
works are on cardboard panels

COLLAGE WORK
My tribute to photographer; Melissa Farlow. The scene is my painting with oil on canvas, but the woman is a cutout.
A collage series in Tribute to photographer: Lynn Johnson
This is also in tribute to Lynn Johnson. According to her article, the leaf was used for medicinal purposes back in the day.
Here I used oil on a black canvas. But then of course I had to put my spin on the painting. I've added graffiti (below), beads, a cat toy string thing, etc. I call her "Alma".
Here I am with KoKo and his basketball. (smile) An old photo but a fun one.
